Ithangune Crater Hike

KSh7,500
Ithangune Crater Lake Alice
Ithangune Crater Hike spans the highlands of Meru Kenya. Hosting Mount Kenya’s Largest Lake, Lake Alice, Ithangune Crater hike is a getaway for explorers and hikers to whom mountain views mean something. This is a special hike that accommodates hikers who are not too experienced, since our departures here, like the Ithangune Hill hike, are for expert hikers. This hike is a 12km climb of pure bliss from the scenic views of the main peaks of Mount Kenya to the landscapes below like Lake Rutundu, the Giant Billiard Table Mountain, and finally the aerial view of Lake Ithangune (Popularly known as Lake Alice). Most importantly, the Hike allows you to touch the waters of this lake.
