Mau Mau Peak: A Scenic Escape to the Edge of Muranga
The Mau Mau Peak is the youngest popular baby of the Aberdare ranges. If you are familiar with Elephant Hill Hike or the 12 Apostles, the Mau Mau Peak follows the same trail all the way to the base of the pinnacle of Elephant Hill peak, where it branches to the right as you head to the hump-like hills behind the real Elephant Hill summit.
It follows a slightly less paved track behind the hump-like peaks to Mau Mau Peak. It also shares the vegetation with Elephant Hill and has a similar elevation.
